Dr Pressley is so compassionate, kind, gentle, understanding, to all our rescued Furbabies, but he literally saved Redmans life because he acted so fast with drugs, warning blanket, etc....he acts in a crisis and works hours upon hours without a partner. I think he's such a great good man he deserves a nice surprise as this. Thank you.

When we took our very sick rescued furbaby dog Redman to Dr Pressley, he never gave up on Redman even though he was so very sick. Dr. Pressley is caring, dedicated, loving, and patient and kind. He works hours by himself no other partner. Please consider him for this award he's dedicated to all our Furbabies at our rescue and our personal ones, hes an honorable Dr of veterinary medicine that deserves something nice in their honor as Dr Pressley does. Thank you

I feel compelled to nominate 2222 Veterinary Clinic because: 1, Mindi and her husband Frank treat our dog Doby like a human being by following up with a call after every appointment in case there's any questions or concerns, a practice I find rare in a vet. They also go above and beyond for an animal. When we got Doby, his breeder unbeknownst to us opted to dock his tail himself with what we assume is a machete. When we saw him that day, his little tail was still bleeding, his spine was visible and, naturally, he was in terrible pain not behaving like a puppy at all, simply curling up, sighing and trembling, not exploring or sniffing out his new home. We knew something was wrong and took him to Mindi (who was 9 months pregnant and to be induced the next day), who made a special exception for our pup. When we got there, she and her team immediately took Doby in, quickly checked him, determined he had infected tissue, and took him in for surgery within an hour. She amputated what was left of his tail a day before the birth of her daughter. They were also flexible with paymenta plus. A special shoutout to her husband Frank, whom I would love to include in this nomination, as he did all the follow up care and has since made sure Doby is a happy, healthy, active Weimaraner. Included, not Mindi but Doby's tail, before

Dr Lindsey genuinely cares and listens to your concerns and fears. He takes time with your pets and charges pretty reasonable. He also supports pet rescues. He goes above and beyond and can even in special circumstances answer quick questions by text.

Dr. Echolds provides free and drastically reduced fee services to hundreds of animals at our local shelter. Dr. Echolds is awesome. Great diagnostic and surgical skills and he is very compassionate. He has saved many of our orphaned animals who came to our local shelter in very bad condition. They are alive today because he cares. As former Mayor for the City of Mission Viejo, our no kill shelter was my "pet" project. Giving every animal a chance for a great new home has been made possible through the generosity of Dr. Echolds and the support of our animal loving community.

Dr. Echolds has treated my own dog, Praline, in a caring, kind and competent manner. His postive manner is mirrored in his staff. Also, in support of DAWG, which is a volunteer group supporting the Mission Viejo Shelter, he has been a miracle worker when treating homeless animals with unique illnesses and critical issues. He's a skilled surgeon

Dr. Pat Echolds and the staff of Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital help the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) and the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter save and better the lives of the endless number of cats and dogs that find themselves homeless and in need of care in our area. When I joined the DAWG Board, my eyes were opened to the dedication and devotion Dr. Echolds had shown over the years to animals who had no voice of their own. He has gone above and beyond to help and heal the animals in our area who were given up, thrown out, forgotten... Without the help of Dr. Echolds, DAWG and the Mission Viejo Shelter would not be able to afford, and give, the immediate and often costly treatments needed to save the lives of the animals, who through no choice of their own, are awaiting a second chance at our local shelter. When the work of Dr. Echolds was revealed to me, I immediately switched vets to ensure my animals would be shown the care and love received by the orphaned shelter pets. Our dogs greet the Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital staff as they would family members. Dr. Echolds is personable, accountable, and is actively involved with the animals in his care and their human parents. Please choose Dr. Pat Echolds, the best vet, so that we can show him the depth of our thanks.

My dog, Cooper, had a ruptured spleen. Two vets told me to immediately put him down, but Dr. Lindsey, who was out of town at the time, spoke to me over the phone throughout the weekend and urged me not to put him down and that he would do surgery after hours on Monday night. He didn't ask me to waste money on an ultrasound and xrays because he said he could see everything once he got in during surgery. He said it breaks his heart when people spend all their money on presurgery procedures and then they cannot afford the actual surgery. So, we trusted him, and we did not put Cooper down and brought him in on a Monday night. Dr. Lindsey performed the surgery and removed a 7 lb ruptured spleen and blood clot. He only charged $1,600 while other vets quoted me $68k. He is a veterinarian truly because he loves animals and loves what he does. He saved Cooper and I didn't break the bank to do it. If I had listened to other vets, I would have put Cooper down. Cooper is now happy and healthy and has years ahead of him chasing squirrels and crows. We owe it all to Dr. Lindsey. He is our hero.
